Dr. Chukwueloka Umeh

Dr. Chukwueloka Umeh – Managing Director/CEO

Dr. Umeh joined CPG from the General Electric Company, USA, where he spent over 10 successful years in several roles of increasing responsibility, including a Scientist focused on low emissions gas turbine combustion systems and other advanced technologies primarily for ground-based and aviation gas turbine engines, and Aerospace Systems Module Manager for the LEAP-X and GE Passport Aircraft Engines. His last role in GE was an Engineering Manager of large team focused on the design, manufacture, and support of the combustion and high-pressure turbine systems of several commercial and military aircraft engines.

He earned several engineering degrees including a B.Eng. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nigeria, a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida, and an MSc and Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Troy, New York. He is an alumnus of GE's Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), has authored over 15 technical publications, and has been granted five US patents. In his free time, Dr. Umeh volunteers actively in charitable community development efforts, and actively mentors several students and young professionals.

 

Chiemezie Ejinima

Chiemezie Ejinima – Chief Finance Officer

Chiemezie is a Chartered Accountant and core finance professional with over 13 year's experience. Prior to joining, Chiemezie was a senior manager in Corporate Finance and Advisory Group of Zenith Capital Ltd – the investment banking subsidiary of Zenith Bank Plc, where he provided leadership and participated in numerous financial structuring and capital raising transactions.

Prior to Zenith Capital, Chiemezie was a Petroleum Economist at Addax Petroleum where he was responsible for various areas including economic analysis of investment opportunities/Capex spend for the Asset Management Group; setting up economic models for determining the economic viability of new opportunities (New Ventures); commercial evaluation for Farm-in opportunities; financial forecasts and simulations and facilitating trainings in project economics.

Prior to Addax, he was Senior Consultant in Corporate Finance at KPMG Professional Services where he worked extensively on corporate valuations. He had also previously lectured at the Lagos Business School. He began his career at Citibank in 1999 working in the international payments division.

He holds a BSc. Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, an M.Sc in Energy Finance from the University of Dundee in the UK, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

 

Uzoma Erondu

Uzoma Erondu – Manager, Corporate Finance

Uzoma holds a B.Sc in Accountancy and is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Nigeria.

He has vast professional experience having worked with KPMG Advisory Services and Airtel Nigeria. He has led and worked on several transactions involving the power, energy, telecommunications, financial services, construction and FMCG sector.

During his period in KPMG, he worked on numerous transactions across various sectors by providing financial advisory services ranging from buy/sell side advisory (due diligence), valuation, project appraisal and investment, bid advisory, fund raising assistance, divestiture, research, financial modeling, pre-deal assessment, business plans and deal origination.

Earlier in his career he was also a pioneer member of Celtel (now Airtel)'s Pan-African Management Trainee Program in Nigeria.
